We were very pleased to welcome Jen Twydell back to present another feast of healthy eating. Being a hot summer Jen demonstrated a light meal with the use of colours whilst talking of the benefits of mixing colour as well as taste and texture in the preparation and enjoyment of a good diet.

The members there were able to sample the result of Jen's labours after watching it all happen before their very eyes.

Sadly we did not have many in the audience but Jen and her husband have offered to return again and we look forward to the next dishes she recommends and cooks during her talks.

We decided to cancel the August meeting as most members appear to be away so our next gathering is on Thursday 9th September at 8pm at The Preston Cross Hotel when we will welcome back the team from Macmillan Cancer Support who gave us such an informative evening at their last visit. Our guest speakers will be Deepa Doshi - Macmillan Involvement Manager, Helen Rogers - Macmillan Fundraising Manager for Surrey and Tarlika Patel - Macmillan Cancer Information Manager at The Butterfly Centre at Epsom Hospital and a great friend and supporter of Topic of Cancer.
